Commissioning Jewellery

Making an Appointment

Whether you are commissioning a piece directly from this website or you want something altogether different, contacting us begins the fascinating two-way process of inspiration and discussion which is entirely personalised and culminates in an agreed design and price.

We have a stunning selection of loose diamonds and gemstones for you to select from. Every detail must be perfect before David sets about making your flawless piece of bespoke jewellery.

To ensure you have plenty of time and space, we invite you to book a private appointment to visit us on the Southbank, in the OXO tower. Please contact us to discuss the options.

David Ashton works in 18ct gold and Platinum, with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. Using only stones of natural origin, in a stunning range of colours.

Select the perfect union of stone & David Ashton metalwork. The jewellery created is yours alone.

If you see a design you like in our collection but would like it in a different combination of metal and gemstone, please contact us to discuss the options.

David will listen to your ideas, offer technical advice, and produce a piece of beautiful timeless jewellery, guaranteed to be treasured for years to come.

Prices are guides, for the exact item shown. The stone type, weight and quantity, band width, finger size, number of dots and circles etc, can be selected to suit a design or budget.  Any size, width and profile of ring can be made.

We have extensive records, if you’ve purchased from us in the past, we can access these to ensure a new purchase is a perfect match.

The Best Materials

Gemstones are a lifetime passion, prompting studies at the Gemological Association in London of gemstones & diamonds. We have significant experience in sourcing and selecting gemstones and have a unique selection of beautiful diamonds, sapphires, rubies & emeralds. David makes rings that are designed for life, durable, comfortable, and designed to be worn, all day every day. Bespoke London Jewellery

We will gladly show you a selection, and discuss and explain the technical and aesthetic considerations to ensure the stone you choose meets your requirements and is an ongoing delight.

Meeting us considerably enhances this process. It means that you will be able to try on pieces, see what suits you, and what proportions and sizes are best. We understand this isn’t always possible so are happy to offer a mail order service, using numerous technologies, to ensure all the details are perfect.

Following acceptance of the design and price, we generally require a 25% deposit and up to 6 weeks for production and delivery, often sooner.

When you commission a ring, we provide a silver “sizing” band – wearing this over a few days enables you to get a perfect fit.

If you would like to make an appointment to discuss a commission, email or call.

A gemstone is a mineral of natural origin that is used in jewellery for reasons of combined beauty, rareness and intrinsic value.

Because every diamond  & gemstone is unique, each with its precise gemological characteristics, pricing is unique to each piece. We will be happy to work within your budget or specifications.
