David’s passion is for metal work, having spent many years, he jokingly says, chained to the bench! Ensuring every detail is perfect for the individual wearer is incredibly important. Meeting with you, whether in person or virtually, is a joy. Each piece is to be unique, made from scratch to 0.01mm, not batch-produced castings that are then altered to each order, which, unfortunately, is ubiquitous in the jewellery trade. David’s understanding and experience of materials and manufacturing techniques ensure his modern cufflinks are beautiful but also durable and comfortable.

In his younger years, David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge and later as an aircraft engineer.  He notably fabricated part of the nose cone for Concord at Marshalls in Cambridge. This provided a unique perspective on precision manufacturing, which he applied to jewellery making.

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
