David’s unique approach to precision and craftsmanship stems from his background. In his early years, he trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge. Later worked as an aircraft engineer—most notably fabricating the nose cone for Concorde at Marshalls in Cambridge. This experience shaped his meticulous attention to detail, which now defines every piece of David Ashton jewellery.
