The centrepiece features a 0.34ct natural ruby, chosen for its perfect, vibrant red colour. David has rub-over set the ruby in solid 18ct yellow gold, creating a smooth, elegant finish. Furthermore, the setting sits within a beautiful 14.5mm mabé pearl, which adds a lovely contrast of colour and texture.
The mabé pearl sits in a handmade 18ct yellow gold pendant. Its luminous surface beautifully complements the intense red ruby, while the polished gold adds warmth and richness.
The pendant hangs from a wonderful string of natural red cabochon rubies, alternating with 5mm and 7mm white pearls. The cabochon rubies have a combined weight of 48.21ct, creating a striking display of rich, even red colour.
