Ruby spinel necklace
Ruby red spinel is a rare gemstone made up of hard vitreous magnesium aluminium oxide or magnesium aluminate. Specifically, red spinel is the rarest mineral that comes from the spinel family, and the most desirable. The most famous is the Black Prince’s ruby.
These beautifully fully faceted beads graduate in size from 3 to 4.6mm. The overall length is just below 21 inches, secured with a sterling silver 6mm ball catch.
This design is available in a rainbow of colours, in a range of natural precious and semi-precious gemstones, and in any length as desired. Please contact us for details.
Because gemstones are a lifetime passion, David & Nicola have both studied at the internationally recognised Gem-A and have passed the prestigious DGA. An extensive stock of beautiful diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, pearls and many others is available for you to select from. Importantly we will gladly show you a selection. Simultaneously discuss and explain the technical and aesthetic considerations. Without a doubt, the design & stone you choose will be unique and beautiful. Designed to suit your lifestyle, thereafter an ongoing delight. A perfect birthday, anniversary or Christmas present, beautifully boxed.
