Platinum and Diamond Bar Ear-Studs

Beautifully understated, these contemporary platinum and diamond bar ear-studs combine elegant proportions with exceptional craftsmanship. Each stud measures 14mm long and 4mm wide, with five fine natural brilliant-cut diamonds precisely flush-set into solid platinum.

We select only the finest quality natural diamonds, with D/E colour, VVS clarity and Triple Excellent cut, polish and symmetry. Consequently, each diamond displays exceptional brilliance, fire and sparkle.

Why Choose Platinum?

Platinum is particularly well suited to ear-studs. Naturally white, it enhances the beauty of colourless diamonds without requiring rhodium plating. Furthermore, platinum is hypoallergenic, resistant to tarnishing and exceptionally durable, making it an excellent choice for jewellery worn every day.

Importantly, David sets the diamonds blind into solid platinum, without drilling through or cutting away the metal beneath them. This thoughtful construction preserves the strength of the setting while preventing dirt from collecting behind the stones. In addition, secure threaded posts offer reassurance and comfort for everyday wear.

Individually Handmade in London

David individually handcrafts each pair in our London workshop at the OXO Tower. His background in precision engineering, together with over 35 years of jewellery-making experience, ensures exceptional attention to detail.

We use only responsibly sourced natural diamonds and 100% recycled precious-metal bullion. Discover more about our commitment to ethics and sustainability and our history and craftsmanship.

Made Especially for You

These versatile bar ear-studs are also available in 18ct yellow or rose gold. Alternatively, choose natural rubies, emeralds or sapphires, either individually or in your preferred combination. We can also adjust the number of gemstones to create a more understated or elaborate design.

To discuss your preferred combination, we warmly invite you to contact us.
