Natural Pink Sapphire, Tanzanite and Tahitian Pearl Necklace

A beautiful combination of natural pink sapphires, tanzanite and a single Tahitian pearl creates this elegant, modern necklace. The soft pink tones provide a lovely contrast with the blue-violet tanzanite. Meanwhile, the pearl adds a striking focal point to the design.

The natural pink sapphire rondelles measure approximately 3–3.5mm, with a gentle graduation in size. Each gemstone features fine facets that catch the light and enhance its natural colour. At the centre, a 9.5mm Tahitian pearlcreates a beautiful contrast. Tanzanite gemstones flank the pearl, bringing an extra touch of colour and depth.

The Natural Beauty of Pink Sapphires

Pink sapphires belong to the corundum family, the same mineral family as rubies and blue sapphires. However, their lovely pink colour comes from small amounts of chromium within the crystal.

The amount of chromium influences the depth of pink. As a result, natural sapphires can range from delicate pastel shades to rich, vibrant pinks. Moreover, their excellent hardness makes sapphires a wonderful choice for fine jewellery.

The necklace measures 19 inches overall and features a sterling silver neodymium magnetic ball catch. This secure, easy-to-use fastening also provides a neat finish.

Combining delicate pink sapphires with the rich lustre of a Tahitian pearl, this necklace offers a lovely balance of colour and elegance.
