David handcrafts the ring in his London workshop, pairing the diamond with a substantial 3.3mm-wide 18ct yellow gold band.
A Modern Diamond Solitaire
The clean, understated design allows the natural diamond to become the focus of the ring. Rather than using traditional claws, David surrounds the diamond with a precisely handmade rub-over setting. As a result, the smooth setting protects the stone from everyday knocks and helps prevent dirt from collecting around it.
Just as importantly, there are no claws to catch on clothing. This makes the ring exceptionally comfortable and practical for everyday wear while retaining the elegance expected of fine jewellery.

Although this example features a 0.31ct natural diamond set in a 3.3mm-wide 18ct yellow gold band, the design can be personalised. For example, we can create it with a natural diamond from approximately 0.20ct upwards, or with a carefully selected natural sapphire, ruby or emerald.
You can also choose platinum, 18ct rose gold or combinations of precious metals, while the band can be made thinner or wider to suit your preferred proportions.
