Your Guide to buying David Ashton Jewellery

bespoke jewellery making David Ashton

Placing an Order

Whether you’re selecting a piece from our collection or dreaming up something entirely original, your journey with David Ashton starts with a personal, collaborative experience.

If you have found your perfect piece, you are welcome to purchase directly, or we can arrange complimentary insured next-day delivery. If you have something uniquely yours in mind, together we’ll explore ideas, refine your vision, and arrive at a design—and price—tailored precisely to your preferences.

David crafts each piece exclusively in 18ct gold or platinum, using only natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds.

Every stone is handpicked for its exceptional colour, clarity, and character.
We invite you to book a private appointment at our studio in London’s iconic OXO Tower on the Southbank. Here, you’ll have the time and space to explore your ideas in comfort. If visiting in person isn’t possible, we’ll gladly arrange a virtual consultation at your convenience.

We have a carefully curated selection of loose diamonds and coloured gemstones for you to choose from. Once you’ve selected the perfect stones and confirmed every detail—from the setting to the finishing touches—David begins the meticulous process of crafting your bespoke piece, blending his signature metalwork with your unique vision.

See a design you love but want it in a different metal or with different gemstones? We’re happy to customise any piece to suit your taste. Throughout the process, David listens closely to your ideas, offers expert guidance, and transforms your inspiration into a timeless piece of jewellery you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Luxury Bespoke Rings with the Perfect Fit

At David Ashton Jewellery, we craft luxury bespoke rings that fit flawlessly—because elegance is nothing without comfort.

Finding the perfect ring size can be tricky, but our refined process ensures no compromise. Traditional printed templates often fail to capture the subtle nuances of your finger. After all, your finger isn’t a fixed size—it can fluctuate throughout the day depending on temperature, activity, and even time of year. The band width, profile, and stacking can also influence how a ring feels.

To guarantee the ideal fit, we provide a silver ring replica of your chosen design for you to wear for a few days. This ensures the final bespoke piece is perfectly tailored to you. We are happy to guide you through the sizing process when you place your order, ensuring precision without stress.

Planning a surprise? Our discreet solutions let you obtain the correct size without revealing your secret, so your luxury gift arrives perfectly fitted.

David Ashton Jewellery – where luxury meets precision, and every ring is perfectly tailored.

Gemstones aren’t just materials—

They’re a lifelong passion that led to formal training at the Gemological Association in London. With years of experience sourcing and selecting exceptional stones, we offer a distinctive collection of natural diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds—each chosen for its rare beauty and character.

At David Ashton, we create rings designed for life: beautifully balanced, made to be worn every day, and built to last. Each piece blends comfort, durability, and timeless style.

We work exclusively with natural diamonds of the highest standards—typically D/E colour, VVS clarity, and excellent cut, polish, and symmetry.

David Ashton only uses and has always used natural diamonds and gemstones.

Acting sustainably is at the core of everything that we do. Our stringent sourcing procedures, selection processes and certification requirements mean that the diamonds & gemstones in every piece of David Ashton jewellery are guaranteed to be ethically produced and 100 per cent conflict-free. Where possible we use independent family-owned suppliers.

A diamond is a mineral created by nature; a “diamond” should always mean a natural diamond.

A gemstone is a mineral of natural origin that is used in jewellery for reasons of combined beauty, rareness and intrinsic value.

Because every diamond  & gemstone is unique, each with its precise gemological characteristics, pricing is unique to each piece. We will be happy to work within your budget or specifications.
