Black diamond, fire opal and 18ct gold necklace.

Nothing matches the fantastic sparkle of these 2.5mm black natural diamond beads. With an overall length of almost 17 inches, the faceting of these beads is beautiful.  Discover more about fancy colour diamonds in our blog. 

These are seven, 4mm vibrant orange Mexican fire opals, which resemble hot coals. They are protected from the black diamond with handmade solid 18ct yellow gold beads.

The black diamonds and fire opals are secured with an 18ct yellow-gold ball catch. It is 16 inches long and sits perfectly on the collarbone. Furthermore, David can make this fit perfectly, longer or shorter as desired, with your choice of catch.

In his younger years, David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge and, consequently, as an aircraft engineer. Importantly, this gave him a unique perspective on precision manufacturing, which he then applied to jewellery making.
