A certified 0.32ct natural brilliant-cut diamond, rub-over set in platinum and framed by 22 natural Myanmar rubies. The platinum setting sits on a 3.3mm handmade 18ct rose gold band, combining cool white metal, rich ruby colour and warm rose gold in one individually made ring.

About this Diamond framed with rubies rose gold ring

A certified 0.32ct natural brilliant-cut diamond forms the centre of this ring. David rub-over sets it in solid platinum and frames it with 22 natural rubies from Myanmar. The setting sits on a handmade 3.3mm 18ct rose gold band.

The smooth rub-over setting holds the centre diamond securely without claws. Therefore, there are no claws to catch, wear down or work loose. The surrounding stones sit in solid settings, which David makes without drilling through beneath them.

This blind construction retains more precious metal and strengthens the setting. It also leaves fewer open spaces underneath where soap and dirt can collect, helping the gemstones stay cleaner.
