A striking three-ring stack in 18ct yellow gold, centred with a 0.70ct natural intense orange-yellow brilliant-cut diamond. David adds 18 colour-matched orange-yellow diamonds to the central ring, while two interlocking rings set with 72 natural black diamonds create dramatic contrast. He individually handmakes all three rings in London.

About this ring

A 0.70ct natural intense orange-yellow brilliant-cut diamond sits at the centre of this unusual three-ring design. David rub-over sets the centre diamond in 18ct yellow gold. He then flush sets 18 colour-matched natural orange-yellow diamonds into the central band.

Two interlocking 18ct yellow gold rings frame the centre ring. Together, they contain 72 natural black diamonds. David makes each of the three rings individually, so their proportions work together as one complete design.

The rub-over setting holds the centre diamond securely within a smooth, continuous rim of precious metal, without the need for claws. Therefore, there are no claws to catch on clothing, wear down or work loose. The smooth construction also helps stop dirt collecting around the diamond. As a result, the setting is virtually maintenance-free and easy to enjoy every day.

David also flush sets the additional diamonds directly into the gold. This keeps the surface smooth and continues the practical character of the design.
