Moonstone, Sapphire & Ruby Necklace – A Beautiful Play of Natural Colour
This elegant moonstone, sapphire and ruby necklace combines the soft luminosity of natural moonstone with the rich colours of exceptional gemstones. Handmade in London, the design offers a beautiful balance of subtle iridescence and vibrant colour.
The necklace features predominantly 6mm faceted natural moonstone beads, carefully selected for their lovely schiller. As the light moves across the facets, delicate blue and white reflections appear beneath the surface. This captivating optical phenomenon, known as adularescence, gives moonstone its distinctive, almost ethereal glow. At the front, seven natural sapphire and two ruby briolettes, approximately 9mm long, introduce beautiful accents of colour. Their faceted, elongated shapes catch the light, creating a lovely contrast with the luminous moonstones.
Measuring 18 inches overall, the necklace features a sterling silver neodymium magnetic ball catch. This exceptionally secure fastening is also wonderfully easy to put on and remove.
