About this ring
This narrow platinum ring contains 30 natural brilliant-cut diamonds, evenly flush set around the 2.6mm band. David uses colourless D/E, VVS diamonds for crisp brilliance against the naturally white platinum.
Each diamond sits level with the surface, so there are no claws to catch. David also sets the stones blind into solid metal rather than drilling through beneath them. This retains more platinum and gives the ring greater substance. In addition, the smooth interior helps prevent soap and dirt collecting beneath the diamonds.
Platinum is naturally white, hypoallergenic and needs no plating. It also work-hardens through wear, making it an excellent choice for a ring intended to be enjoyed every day.
