The example shown features 1.64ct natural purple oval sapphire with 0.08ct total natural diamonds, sapphire and diamond setting, in 4mm solid 950 platinum ring. All diamonds are natural and, unless specifically stated otherwise, meet our D/E, VVS, Triple Excellent house standard. Handmade individually in David Ashton’s London workshop.

The unusual purple oval sapphire provides a striking focus of colour, complemented by fine natural diamonds and substantial platinum. David Ashton handmakes each ring individually in his London workshop, combining elegant proportions with everyday comfort and lasting durability.
We select our natural sapphires for their exceptional colour, clarity and cut. Strong, even colour saturation combines with excellent brightness to give the sapphires their vibrant appearance.
All diamonds used by David Ashton Jewellery are natural. Unless specifically stated otherwise, we select all our natural diamonds to our house standard of D/E colour, VVS clarity and Triple Excellent cut, polish and symmetry. This exceptional quality gives our diamonds outstanding brightness, fire and scintillation.
David and Nicola have both studied with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) and successfully passed the Diamond Diploma, gaining the DGA qualification. Their training supports the technical and aesthetic guidance they give when comparing natural stones.
