This beautiful, opulent green emerald is rub-over is set in 18ct yellow gold on an 18ct white gold ring with yellow dots and circles. Rub-over set emerald on 18ct dot and circle ring.

This ring is an original signature. David Ashton has been making mixed metal rings for over 30 years. The pattern is all the way through so it won’t wear away.

 

Because there are no claws to catch, rub-over set jewellery is easy to wear. These rings are designed to be worn and are beautiful and comfortable.

Available in 18ct yellow with white gold or the reverse. Consequently, the number of dots can be varied to suit.

The price guide shows a 0.45ct emerald set in 5mm 18ct gold. 

Each piece is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, crafted with a deep understanding of the materials used. His iconic ring stacks have been internationally recognised in Elle, Vogue, V&A, and the TATE, to name a few.

In his younger years, David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge and, consequently, as an aircraft engineer. This gave him a unique perspective on precision manufacturing, which he applied to jewellery making.
