Natural rubies and natural brilliant-cut diamonds form a chevron pattern around a solid 5mm 18ct yellow gold band. The stones are set into solid metal without drilling through beneath them, helping create a substantial ring for everyday wear. We never use lab-created diamonds.

David sets the stones into solid precious metal rather than drilling through beneath them. This retains more gold and leaves no open holes beneath the stones where soap and lotions can collect. David Ashton Jewellery uses only natural diamonds, never lab-created diamonds. David studied diamonds and gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A), gaining DGA and FGA qualifications. That training informs the natural diamonds and gemstones selected for his jewellery.
