Only naturally black pearls are formed in the black-lipped oyster. This example is very round and has a lovely lustre, showing many different colours within the black.

Additionally, this style is available in yellow or rose gold with a larger or smaller pearl—your choice of yellow or pink diamonds, rubies, sapphires or emeralds.

David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge in his younger years. Later, as an aircraft engineer, this gave him a unique perspective on precision manufacturing, which he then applied to jewellery making.
