Naturally, this colour, this pearl was formed in the black lip oyster; it is not dyed;
It is very round and has a lovely lustre, showing many different colours within the dark grey/black.

David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge in his younger years and subsequently as an aircraft engineer. Importantly, this gave him a unique perspective on precision manufacturing, which he applied to jewellery making.
