Tanzanite is a rare blue-violet gemstone, a variety of the mineral zoisite, that is exclusively mined in Tanzania. Discovered in 1967, it is the birthstone for December and the anniversary gemstone for the 24th wedding anniversary. These faceted tanzanites, are a pretty dusty lilac shade, 4.5mm each.
Black spinel is a rare gemstone of complex vitreous magnesium aluminium oxide or magnesium aluminate. Specifically, black spinel is one of the rarest minerals from the Spinel family, the most famous being the black Prince’s ruby. Due to the crystal structure, the name derives from the Latin spina, little thorn. Hard, sharp facets give this necklace a fantastic sparkle.
White cutured pearls 3-3.5 mm are pure white, very round with a lovely deep lustre, and perfect surface finish.
