About this ring
A vibrant 0.70ct natural blue sapphire forms the centre of this ring. David rub-over sets it in platinum, then frames it with 24 natural brilliant-cut diamonds. The cool platinum and diamonds contrast with the warm 3.3mm 18ct rose gold band.
The rub-over setting holds the sapphire within a smooth, continuous rim of precious metal. Therefore, there are no claws to catch on clothing, wear down or work loose. The construction also helps stop dirt collecting around the sapphire, making the ring easy to enjoy every day.
